Spamalot!
Last week Bear and I went into New York City to go see Spamalot. Since we got into the city a bit early, we headed over to see the tree at Rockefeller Plaza. Considering it was after the holidays and the freezing cold temps, there was still a huge crowd there. I just hated getting lost in the underground concourse. :)

We also stopped by Times Square. It really is amazing how bright it is.

Then we finally went over to the Schubert Theater to see the show.

OMFG! It was fantastic! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. If you've ever seen Monty Python's "Holy Grail" and you enjoyed it, you will love this. Too bad it's closing this weekend or else I would see it again. Michael Siberry did a wonderful job as King Arthur, Rick Holmes was hysterical as Sir Lancelot and the taunting French knight (oh were there some classic scenes with that one), and hell...even Clay Aiken did a good job as Sir Robin. If you can see this on their North American tour, I would highly recommend it.
I hadn't been to a show on Broadway since the late 80's/early 90's. I think the last show I saw was "Cats." I forgot how much fun it was to see a show on Broadway. We're hoping to go see the comedy "Avenue Q" sometime this spring as long as we both have jobs. Even sitting up in the nosebleeds was expensive but it was worth it.
