Formerly Feral Friday
Here is our Shadow. He is probably the most feral kitty in our household but he's starting to finally warm up to us. Next month, he'll be four years old and we've had him since he was a 12 week old kitty. However, that is what the shelter woman said and she said the same thing about Dharma when we got her and she was actually six months old! As you can see, his tongue is sticking out a bit. He usually does that when he's happy. That has become a guide to his happiness as the farther out it sticks the happier he seems to be.

What really has surprised me is that the household has been very calm since Loki's passing. Whenever one of our alpha cats passed, house usually would be in a state of chaos as all the kitties fight for that top alpha spot. It was clear that Loki was the alpha but things are very subdued here. What I am starting to believe is that they are probably mourning him. I saw an article today about this and I have known for years that this does happen. Luckily they are all eating and acting relatively normally, just more subdued. I hope they will all be alright.
P.S. Connie - Your advice with Tasha that you gave me so long ago has worked! While I cannot pick her up, she is now coming to me when I call her for pets. Thank you!

I used to be an elementary school teacher and left to be a digital artist, but I do feel your pain when it comes to doing what you love.
Congratulations on Shadow!
